What is a Managed Service?
What is a managed service?
A managed service is an ongoing engagement where XENON’s engineers operate, monitor and maintain your infrastructure for you, from HPC clusters and AI systems through to storage, backup and hybrid cloud environments. Rather than hiring and retaining scarce specialist staff, you gain an entire team of infrastructure experts who work as an extension of your own.
How does a managed service work?
Every engagement starts with your workload and your goals. We agree the scope of service, whether that is proactive monitoring, patching and updates, capacity planning or full cluster operations, and set clear service levels around it. Your systems are then supported day to day by XENON engineers who know your environment, on a flexible time-and-materials basis so you only pay for what you use.
What are the benefits of a managed service?
A managed service keeps your infrastructure performing at its best while your team stays focused on research and results, not ops tickets. You gain deep specialist expertise across compute, networking and storage without carrying the cost of specialist hires. Customers typically see higher uptime, faster issue resolution, and savings of up to 70% compared with staffing an equivalent in-house team.
Key challenges in managed service engagements:
Modern infrastructure spans compute, networking and storage, and increasingly GPUs, AI frameworks and hybrid cloud as well. Few organisations can hire and retain specialists across every layer, and a single resignation can leave critical systems exposed. A managed service closes those gaps, but only when the provider truly understands the workload. That is where XENON’s decades of HPC experience count.
How XENON Makes
It Possible
We understand your workload today, and your plans for tomorrow
Being vendor agnostic, we support whatever you run, on-premises, co-located or in the cloud, with engineers who manage your environment as if it were our own.
XENON
Deployment Stories
XENON has been at the forefront of high performance computing solutions since 1996. We work with customers to build beyond limits. These are their stories.
Services Built for
Performance and Scale
Keeping critical workloads running with the uptime, responsiveness and expert care today’s most demanding applications deserve. From managed HPC clusters and AI Factories to backup, data protection and hybrid cloud, we run the infrastructure so you can go beyond limits.
The XENON
Architectural Principle
XENON designs service agreements for HPC clustners and AI Factories around clear requirements, predictable cost models and real-world scaling plans, so your infrastructure remains highly available and performing consistently over time.
Architecture
Blueprints for parallel systems designed around throughput, not convenience.
Infrastructure
High bandwidth networking tuned for maximum computational density.
Data Flows
High-throughput I/O pipelines that keep your compute cores fed and never idle.
Security & Governance
Zero-trust compliance that protects sensitive workloads.
Consistant Uptime
Run massive AI training jobs, real-time inference, and HPC jobs at sustained petaFLOP scale.
Managed Lifecycle
Your infrastructure, fully managed, so your teams ship results not ops tickets.
