XENON has been awarded a contract to supply Australia’s National Science Agency, CSIRO with a replacement Hierarchical Storage Manager (HSM) solution. The solution includes Versity Scale Out Archive Manager (ScoutAM) HSM software, PowerEdge compute nodes and PowerSwitch networking from Dell Technologies, and integration services from XENON. The XENON solution utilises the open format Versity ScoutAM HSM software for backward compatibility for decades of existing research data.
